Third Class Electronic Mail is exactly as it's name implies, a shakey way to send electronic mail. Think of it like posting messages on a common area white board. People may see the message before it gets erased and then again they may not. It is a way to inform many people on your network of things. Like sending bulk mail, but this way you are not forcing people to read it. A good example would be a "I'm selling my car!" message. You want to let people know ( and the vp of the company may buy it ) but you probably don't feel comfortable sending this kind of message directly to your vp. This way she can look at it if she wants to.
Again, this is a commercial product. You can make as many copies as you need, but you must pay $48.00 for every copy you or your organization makes.
